I plan on it, though I am thinking of waiting a year, so any bugs will be
worked out.

Likewise, but just because I don't want to pay outrageous markup, too.

Galpin Ford in Los Angeles can get you one, I'm sure (if it came down
to it).

The dealers around here in Northern California have 5-10 GTs on the
lot at any given time. Galpin had 77 last I checked, and ~ 30% were
convertibles.

I suspect less than $50K, though someone might know more than I do.

The last Cobra was like $35K for a convertible.

Not I! I'm happy with my '06 Legend Lime, manual xmission GT with 10" black
racing stripes. (Nah, I'm not proud.(harharhar)...it's the first *new* car
I've ever owned.)

I'm in the process of RE-restoring a 67 289 coupe. - my first car ever.
:-)

I would love to have one, but have a 15 year old son in the house. No
high performance toys for me for a few years.

Please don't flame me - I know this is the Mustang list - but I
really like the retro Challenger. I grew up with Chrysler products,
still have the 68 Fury III 4 door I learned to drive in.

Maybe one of each! Just can't decide on a color for the Challenger:
Lime, orange or purple.

Oh - I like it when you include your area of the country (or the
world) where you are. Makes me feel better or worse dependent upon
your circumstances. It was an outstanding day here - for January.
i.e lost my hubcap in a nice green bush as opposed to a 6 foot dirty
snow pile after fell into huge pothole.

I second that Challenger. I've always had a soft spot for Mopar's. I'm
thinking Lime, Purple or that bright orange on the cover of Automobile.

Western Texas - where it'll be 72 tomorrow and we need rain like you
wouldn't believe.
