I'm looking at purchasing some AmericanRacing Outlaw II wheels for my son's
66 4 lug Mustang. I've already confirmed that these wheels will fit.

The wheels are 14" X 7" with 0 offset and a 4" backspacing.

Does anyone have any idea what size tires would be appropriate for this
wheel?

I'd like to keep the speedo gear the same and not change it. The car is
running stock steel wheels & tires now.

Thanks,

Lance Robaldo

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
...that would not be possible. 0 offset with a 7" width
would mean about 3.75" backspace (Assuming 1/4" inch lip
thickness ... 0 offset means the wheel is centered in/out....)

...and what is the stock tire now? Tirerack.com has tools for
comparing sizes. I think a 205/70 would be a good guess....

That's the specks on their website. I would assume a 1/2" lip thickness.
Seems a bit thick, but I've seen them on cars and they do look pretty good
on a Mustang.

Unfortunately the I6 4 lug Mustangs don't have a whole lot of choice when it
comes to aftermarket wheels....

And yes, I found that the "stock" P195/75 or P205/70 tire will fit it just
fine.

How about Cragar 320 Quick Trick 1's. Does anyone know if they will fit the
4 lug 66 Mustang? They have a 4 X 4.5 bolt pattern.

Lance.
