Depends on when and were the car was built. The exterior overspray, then
pinch weld overspray and finaly engine compartment overspray (all in
particular areas and surfaces)

Rear axle housing - semi-gloss black, third member (the removeable
section if you don't have a 6 cyl) was red oxide primer/SEALER with
natural unpainted machine surfaces

mounting points. Spring seat natural, Spindle, strut rods, steering
parts dark (from the treatment) natural steel. Front shochs dark natural
steel or painted black, Front sway bas Semi-gloss black. Rear sprngs
dark nautal, rear spring seats/plates and U bolts natural steel

Hope this help
Can send pictures if they would be helpful of a fall 64 fastback built
at San Jose with the red oxide undercarriage. You should be able to
clean the area over teh rear end or the trans tunnel to determine the
original color

Thanks for your info Jeff.
My car was built in San Jose to, so yor pictures would help a lot.
Cleaning the bottom to find the original color is not possible. It was totaly cleaned up and painted black by a
previous owner.
