So if I get new heads on my 210,000 miler 302 do you think I can make it to
300,000!?!?!? That would be cool. I would brag about that.

I've read here before that new heads (or a headjob) on a *reeeeealy old*
engine (example: yours) will cause the rings to start leaking.
Supposedly, compression will rise back to normal, since the valves will be
seating perfectly. Since the rings are equally old, they'll start leaking.
So, maybe for a week you'll be smokeless, but then you'll end up with a
worse problem (IMHO).
