I am thinking of selling my "67 GTA convertible and starting on another
project, but I have no idea what a reasonable value is.
The car has had >$10k spent on mechanical work. Rebuilt mildly modified
289, rebuilt transmission, front end, power steering system, brakes. The
paint is a respray. looks good from a distance, but some clear coat is
peeling along the raised edges and the doors have some rust at the bottom
(usual place). The Top is worn and the intereior is in good older
restoration condition. Its based in the Bay area of California.
Any idea of a price range would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Tony

What you seem to be discribing is a worste than usual (for Calif)
builder. Without seeing the car its difficult to say exactly so forgive
us if we're a bit off in what you will find a buyer for it is willing to
pay.
I believe selling it in your region will be difficult due to the rust
(there is very little if any "usual places" for rust on a original Calif
car) and non-Calif carsd are more difficult to sell in this state
Guess price state at $7900 and see what you get.
Convertibles in the papers in Calif this week range from $6000-12,000
