I was thinking the 71-73 stang's used an integrated-power-steering box (i.e. hoses go directly to steering box) that eliminated the bogus power-assist-control-valve-power-ram mess. While not as good as a rack, I would think if it was in good working order it would be good enough not to want to go to the trouble to swap out. That is probably why TCP hasn't bother with 71-73 so far...
although this (upside down!) picture of the '71 from dark-horse's website makes it look like they are playing around with it... the brackets/attachments don't look the same as what I have on my 68... I would give TCP a call... maybe they are working on it, or can hook you up somehow...

Come to think of it, wasn't that a Saginaw box made by (gasp!) General Motors?

Mail From: Keven Coates (email redacted)
Sometime in the next year I'll be attempting my toyota supra power steering
box swap into my '68 stang. It's a nice compact solution with tight
responsive steering and no moving hoses. Most of you know that I've been
trying to find a rack that would fit a stang for several years, but I think
this is a much easier solution with nearly all the benefits.
Just another idea.
