In my opinion, if you've got a turbo you don't need a lot of cubic inches.
A small-bore engine is much better for a turbo engine as it
promotes less detonation with a smaller combustion area,
and the big-bore advantage of unshrouded bigger valves is not needed.
I'm looking at a 3.5" bore 170ci , which is about 2.9L.

I'd also like to go with EFI. I'm hoping I can adapt the
Ford 3.0 V6 electronics. Time to jump into the DYI-EFI mailing list..
If this turns out difficult, I may do a simple carb'd setup first.

If you are interesting in doing a Turbo I6 engine, send me mail,
I'd like to get together a coordinated project.

Also, if you've got a 170ci I6 (or perhaps a 200 also) that you want to
get rid of cheap ($100 or less)
and you are within the SF Bay area, please let me know.
