turning anything inside and I cannot get the trunk open. How do I get
in???? Drill out the lock??? It is in a 69 Mach 1 with fold down seat but
of course the truck hatch is also locked from the inside.

Not sure about your 69 but on my 66 you need to remove the back seat
and crawl through and remove the two bolts holding trunk latch. I've
read some use 10 to 20 extensions on a ratchet if they can't get into
the trunk :-).

Depending on the condition of the lock tumblers you might want to try
soaking it with a cleaner (WD-40) to see if that helps. They get
gummed up.

I laugh only because I worked at a Mustang restoration shop and we ran
into this all the time.

Just crawl into the trunk as best you can and bring a 7/16" socket with
a long extension and undo the trunk mount that bolts to the rear panel
on the inside of the trunk. 2 bolts, and the trunk is open. (it might
be 1/2", but if my memory is right, it's 7/16)

Good luck,
Kevin
