Trunk Lock Broken. How do I get in??? Thanks, I g

Thanks for all the advice. I removed the floor behind the fold down seat an
gained access to the trunk. Turns out the spring the hold the extension bar
to the trunk lock had come loose and the extension had fallen out of the
lock. All fixed now. I wish all problems were that easy.

Not sure about your 69 but on my 66 you need to remove the back seat
and crawl through and remove the two bolts holding trunk latch. I've
read some use 10 to 20 extensions on a ratchet if they can't get into
the trunk :-).

Depending on the condition of the lock tumblers you might want to try
soaking it with a cleaner (WD-40) to see if that helps. They get
gummed up.
