Hmmm... I've come into this thread late, and not sure what is in the "major snip" part of Tony's email, but I'm interested to know what is considered "highly dangerous" about the TCP setup.

I'm running the power TCP kit on my car (68 convertible). I don't see anything inherently dangerous about TCP's kit... am I missing something? As best I can tell it does not reduce the functionality of the collapsible steering column. The mounting hardware all seems quite well engineered for the task.

I'm keeping this short, because sometimes my posts don't make it through.. if it makes it through I may add more about my experiences.
