Hello, I'm new to the list and have a question about a set of Torque thrust
"D" -like- wheels that I recently acquired. The wheels are 15x7 , the
wheel itself is made of steel with an aluminum ring welded to it. This
aluminum is not as polished as the new "D" 's that are advertised , also
the 5 spoke section is also welded to the wheel itself and not integral
(made of steel). I bought the wheels for next to nothing and will cost
about $80 a piece to restore. The person I bought them from has had them
for at least 20 years.

Now the question (finally) does anyone know if these were made by American
(no manufacturing stamp or date on them) or who they were made by? I
understand that the ones on Shelbys were made of magnesium. Are mine worth
anything ?

Thanks

Scott Pimm
