David,

I just put my TKO back in my car yesterday after having a few problems
with the clutch. Anyways, yes I did have to have a new drive shaft
made. The yoke for the TKO was too big to fit on my old drive shaft (I
had a WC T-5 before). The distance from the front of the yoke on my 9"
to the end of the input shaft on the tranny is 53".

PS - The TKO also requires a new clutch disc (26 spline), I didn't see
that listed in your post. I went with a McLeod dual friction disc.
