Hi,

I'm wondering what tips you might have for polishing old chrome pieces like
turn signal frames, grill, bumper guards. etc. I usually start with very
fine steel wool and then work into some chrome polish and finally a coat of
wax to seal it. Is anyone using a small polisher attached to a drill or
Dremel and if so what type of polisher "head" are you using and what type of
polish?

I'm also restoring my Honda CB750F SuperSport and could use some "powered"
polishing solutions.

Thanks!

Scott

On "Mythbusters" they used Coca-Cola and Aluminum Foil and it worked better
than aftermarket products.

Just a thought!

They crumpled up the aluminum foil and used cola and polished until the
rust was gone.

Pour on Coke and immediately rub with aluminum foil, then rinse clean with
water.

The Coke reacts with the foil and bonds with the chrome. Really a cool
chemical reaction.

See #5: snopes.com/cokelore/acid.asp . There is nothing to this
chemically, physically, magically, or anything else.
