Well, it was probably inevitable, but today the Ranger bit the dust. It
seems that a 96 Taurus thought that it would make a great hood ornament, so
it pulled right out in front of me and I broadsided it at about 40MPH. I
must say, I am quite impressed with the Taurus side impact beams. If you
look at the Taurus and the front end of my truck, you would not guess that
it did soooo much damage to the Ranger and so little to the Taurus. The
good news is everyone involved is OK. The bad news is I was not really
looking forward to being in the car market, but I am now. I will be looking
the next few days for a Mustang, full size Ford truck, etc.
