The oil filter on my 66 200 is always VERY tight whenever I take it off
for and oil change, even though I intentionally try not to tighten it
very much when installing it. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm
putting it on right, coating the seal with oil and only hand tight.

I've had this problem.......

I stopped overtightening the filters when I install them..

Don't have a problem anymore.

Also, before you put the filter on, put some oil on the gasket that is
going between the filter and the block. Just sick you finger in one of the
new quarts and rup it on the gasket.

Also, there's no need to *really, really* tightening it.
