[I'm new to this list! Thanks in advance for any advice...]
I recently had a new headliner installed in my '66 coupe. Now
the rear window leaks like a sieve, into the trunk and onto
the package tray. I know this is a common problem with classic
mustangs, but is there any advice on how to stop the leaks?
(I had a new gasket used when the rear window was
reinstalled, I don't know if this was a good or bad thing).
Thanks,
Rob.

Sounds like what happened to me when "they" installed the new gasket but
didn't use any sealant around the glass, gasket, and car window frame. They
came back out and re-did the work with sealer this time and now no leaks.
They used some kind of black eurathane sealant - couldn't get a look at the
label on the tube in their calking gun though.
Now I seem to have a small seam leak into the trunk.
Hope your not in the Pacific NW right now.
