Somebody told me that SB42 had essentially passed (i.e now nearly a law).
Is it true? I get the following email from being on the
california government mailing list for this bill.
It seems to me that it passed the assembly (Sept 9) but now
is going to the senate. Which to me means that it needs to still
be voted on by the senate, etc. Of course I could be all wet, since
I can barely understand what it all means.
Anybody know the latest?
...Thanks Chris

It passed the Senate as originally written, but since the
Assembly ammended it, it needs to pass through the senate
as ammended. Senator Kopp feels it's almost a done deal.
The assembly didn't do much damage to it.
As long as Wilson signs it.....;-)
