I have come to learn that my 67 coupe 289 (C code) has the "Sports Sprint"
package, which includes a chrome air cleaner top, turn signal hood scoops,
rocker moldings, and vinyl covered shift handle (and a few other things). I
assume this is all original stuff, but nothing on the ID tag calls out the
Sports Sprint package. I don't believe this was a dealer add on, so is
there any way to identify or confirm that the car was ordered from the
factory with the sports sprint package?

Thanks. mike.

On my 67 390 I ordered just the reverse scoop turn signals w/o all the other stuff. Apparenty could be orderd as single add ons, dont rightly remember 40 odd years ago. I've heard someone say that the Marti Auto report
stated their car was a Sports Sprint. So ordering
one of those reports might be an easy way to verify
that feature if you don't mind spending the few $$$
(I think the basic Marti report runs ~$20).

Ford also has a basic production report you can
order for free, I'm not sure if it'll break out
the Sports Sprint option. If you do a web search
for something like "Ford 999 report" I think that
might find the contact information.

good luck! danny
