Further to my recent post on speedo drive gears, Ive used the data provided
by the list to work out what I need. That was excellent, thanks.

And yes the driven speedo gear is real easy to remove...just remove one
clamp bolt, pull it out of the tail housing, then disconnect the drive gear
from the cable.

I currently have a 17 tooth drive gear fitted, and need to find a 16 tooth.
My current problem is that I can't find one!

The Ford dealers in New Zealand dont list them, and I havent been able to
find a site that lists them either. Can anyone point me at a reliable
supplier, or is there someone out there who has a 16 tooth lying around
which they would sell to me? It needs to fit a 69 4 speed transmission,
with the cable entry on the left (drivers side).

Regards

Wal Marshall
