I have a '66 Stang and the front window keeps working its way down a
bit...like down about 1'' to 1 1/2'' from the top. I have moved the handle to
about the 10 o'clock position and it has helped some but has not corrected the
problem 100%. My question is this....would it be the front window regulator
assemby with the gears, or would it be the front window regulator scissors
assembly? Which is the most apt to be worn out?
I also notice that if I push on the top of the window frame when the
door is open the window will go down with just a slight push. The window tends
to slant a bit forward also when it works its way down. In other words, the
front of the window is down more than the rear portion of the window. Thanks
for your advice in advance. Jim
