Hi again,

I am thinking of upgrading my wheels (on my 68 GT500KR) from the
steel wheels with covers to the Shelby 10 spoke, which I believe
was an option for these cars. So, my question - was the spare tire
also upgraded to a Shelby 10-spoke, or was it a regular steel
wheel?

Thanks,
Chris.

The majority of time (from observation) steel wheels would be left in the
trunk. OF course the salesman would love to sell another wheel but most
owners did not choose to pay for an extra wheel that would hopefully never
see use
