A question came up on another list regarding serial number
assignments on an early 64 1/2 Mustang Convertible.
This is a March 11, 1964 built car and the individual states that the
last 6 digits of the serial number are 503.
Were the last 6 numbers assigned in the serial number for the
Mustangs mixed in sequence with Falcons and
Comets? I say no, but is there anyway that I am wrong?
Thanks

As in '000503'? You only provided three digits :-)
No, they were not mixed to my knowledge.
