To California Based Classic Mustang Enthusiasts,

Good News!!! SB42 has been approved by the Senate Transportation Committee
in
a 6 to 0 vote. Now, SB42 has been passed onto the Senate Appropriations
Committee (due to its potential financial impact). The Appropriations
Committee is chaired by Senator Johnston of Stockton, CA. -
(email redacted)

Please drop Senator Johnston a letter, E-mail or phone call urging him and
the committee to support SB42.

Come on guys, let's keep up the pressure to get SB42 passed so we can
return to sensible smog testing requirements.

Hi Dave,

How does SB42 read again? Is it posted on the net somewhere?
Is this the one that is proposing a 25 year 'floating' cutoff
for smog checks?

thanks,

-Rich

Great contacted him and my other reps last time...will again. Question:
I heard that they changed the exception rule to 30 year old cars from
25. Heard anything?
