It is with deep regret that I am now selling my 66 fastback.

I bought it from the son of the original owner; the car was never put in the
son's name. It is original and unmolested. The orignal owner, who passed away
in 2002 at age 86, was talked into a lousy paint job a few months before he
died. Up to that point, it had it's original coat of Springtime Yellow. The Ivy
Gold and white pony interior is in remarkable condition, only the carpet is
worn and needs replacing.

The car was bought and driven in San Francisco, and garaged daily while
there. I have all the registrations from CA since 1966, and a copy of the original
title, Of course, the black plates have never been off the car. the original
owner was a bit anal, and kept meticulous records of everything. he had a habit
of taking it, annually, to the local garage to have things like headlights
replaced, just because.

I have the bill of sale from Hughson Ford (the world's First ford dealer!)
which list all the options this car has: (and I quote directly)

cruise-o-matic
225 HP
Tinted Glass
Disc Brakes
Pow. Stg
WSW tires
Console
Radio
Wire wheel Covers
Dlx Belts
Int. decor Group
Spec. Handling Pkg.

In addition, I've added a power brake booster with a dual master cylinder,
and Styled Steel wheels with Goodrich Radial T/As. Don't know if all 66s have
this, but there is a seat belt waring light at the bottom of the dash. This car
is so orignal, it still has the smog pump, with the belt on it!

Of course, this car has no rust, and has never had any.

What it needs: Paint. Though it looks good from 20 feet, it's full of orange
peel, and the jams were never touched.
Bumpers, front and rear.
Carpet.
Bad ground on original AM radio.
Door light wiring has broken.
Missing "F" letter on hood.
Trunk mat could use replacing.

I currently drive this car 2-3 times a week to work and back, about 60
miles round trip. drive it across country, it runs that good.

I had a young girl come see it today with her dad, she has been looking for a
fastback. The dad doesn't know what it is, he'll just spend the cash on
whatever his little darling wants. He said to me, "It'll do until she wrecks it".
Ouch!

I wanted you guys to have first crack at it, it needs to go to someone who
has more time, energy, and money than I do. I'm only asking $12,500 for it,
which is a steal. Check the Collector Car trader Online ads (www.CCTOL.com),
there's not one for less than $15,000.

I've got lots of pics available for those interested.
