The '65-66 spare mounts with a "J" bolt which hooks through a _/\_ shaped
tab welded to the top of the passenger-side trunk floor. If your trunk
floor has been replaced, it should still have some raised markings
outlining the position for this tab. Unfortunately, the tab itself hasn't
been reproduced, so your best bet is to try some of the used parts vendors
-- should be pretty easy to find one, as this part appeared on 1,000,000+
'65-66 Mustangs (less the "Early" models, which had a slotted piece to fit
the "carriage bolt" spare holddown.
