Right End of the Driveshaft?

I know this sounds a bit elementary, but is there a right/wrong end of a
driveshaft if both U-joints are the same?

Not so much right or wrong, but if you reverse ends,
it can affect the balance. I think. At least it seemed
to many years ago when I managed to do it.

I believe that if there is a wieght on one end it should go to the rear of the car. I am not 100% positive.

My driveshaft has weights on both ends.
