Can someone give me some tips on removing my clutch petal spring? The little
plastic piece that fits between the petal and the spring broke off and I got
another one to replace it, but man, I can't figure out how to get that darn
spring off so I can put the new part on there!

All I can say is Good Luck. I removed mine to replace that bushing too,
never did get it back in. Getting it off wasn't a problem for me, it was
getting it back on. I ended up changing the clutch again and put in a
Center Force. The spring is still sitting on my work bench.

Last time I did this I took the whole pedal support assembly
out and did it on the bench.... kinda overkill....

Here's the 67 Shop manual section ... 65/6 is pretty much the same
