If the Grenada that is donating my spindles still has the shock and upper
control arm installed, can I remove the spindle and let the upper arm hold
the spring in place? Reason I ask is the car is on the ground with no
wheels and I don't think they allow jacks. So if the guy raises the car
for me and leaves it resting on old tires or whatever, I plan on just
busting the spindle off and leaving the rest behind.
Thanks

This will work fine. The upper control arm will rest on the front frame
rail.
