Did it shear off, or unscrew from the arm?

Those caps are steel, and thread into the arm. It would be highly unusual,
I'd think, for it to shear off, unless it were somehow damaged. Are you
sure it isn't just sticking out the back of the arm?

The arm pivots (shaft and bushing caps) should be available new and if
there's any question about the health of the bushing I'd definitely plan on
changing the shaft too, but you want to check the rear hole in the control
arm to ensure that the bushing threads TIGHTLY into the hole, and use red
Loctite on it too.

John.
