Hi all,
I'm doing the brakes on my 1968 Shelby GT500KR, and while there, I =
decided to
replace all three flex hoses. I got the replacements, and started to fit =
them, but ran
into a gotcha on the rear - its not the right part. I bought the rear =
flex brake hose
for 68-69 428CJ, but the bracket is different. Comparing the setup with =
my 69 CJ,
the difference is that on the Shelby, the diff breather actually screws =
down the=20
brake-hose bracket, while on the 69 its different.
I called a bunch of parts places, but nobody had even a reference for =
the Shelby
part.
So, does anyone know if this part is perhaps available under a different =
reference
(perhaps it is a non-CJ hose?), or give me a clue as to where I can find =
one?
Thanks,
Chris.

That sounds just like the 67 part, I think it's available, I
think I put one on our TA car a few years ago....hmmm...
I don't think it is Shelby unique at all. I don't see them in the
Branda catalog I have here...
