hi all,

i finally picked up a set of rear seat belts for my 65 convertible. does
anyone have belts installed in the rear of their car?

there are two holes located in the rear panel, about 2" inboard of the
seatback retainer locations, but no other holes. is there a correct location which
can be described for the outboard attachment locations? measurements or
photos? and any specific diameter hole?

also- the full set of seat belts i received have two of the belts with a bent
metal end clip. my front belts have a flat chrome triangular attachement end,
the rear ones appear to have a bent (or angled) chrome piece. also correct??

any advice would be appreciated.

finally-does anyonne have a midnite turquoise or twilite turquoise vehicle?
am trying to restore the interior of mine back to factory and, since data
plate is missing, am looking for some more info...

thanks all and happy holidays,

not sure if the convert is the same as a coupe , but on my 66 coupe there are
two holes for the inboard belts.....one on each side of the trans tunnel. the
outboard holes are right next to the wheelhouses. you kinda have to look up
under the interior quarter panel to see them.

the bent ends are correct , i believe, at least for my 66 coupe. this is the
way my original belts are. fronts are just flat like you described yours to be.

my original seat belts are for sale if anyone is interested. they are black.
very old and stiff, and a mouse has chewed up one of them. i caught that mouse
in my parts box and he got his punishment via BB gun.
