www.tachman.com does this sort of work as well as a bunch of other
places I've found on the web. I have been looking to buy a Rally Pac
for my car, but the prices for new from various suppliers are between
around $500. to well over $600. when available. Used ones on eBay go for
over $400. Does anyone know of an after market unit that, while not
original, is still presentable? I have a B&B 302 (358hp) in my '65 so
it does not need stock OEM instruments, but I would like something that
is close to the original look. A top of the line tachometer is around
$100 and maybe half that for a good clock. So what is it about the
bracX-X-Mozilla-Status: 0009he steering column that is so bloody
expensive?

Texas Mustang reproduces the low mount late 65/66 style rally pac which
would fit your car fine. I don't know the current price. I remember it being
something like $300. Trouble with buying a used one from an unknown source
is that the damn thing might not work when you get it. I bought my rally pac
at the '94 30th anniversary show and went through 3 used ones that the
fellow said he guaranteed worked. If I hadn't tried to install it at the
show and found out they didn't work and had a buddy with me when I bought it
I might have been up the creek with a $300 rally pac that didn't work. I
finally bought a totally reconditioned one with an NOS 8k tach and quartz
clock at the show and the fellow himself installed it for $475. 6 years
later it stills looks and works perfect.
