Hello all,

I have subscribed to this list on and off for the past four years, and
after coming back from overseas have started working in the car again.

I have a problem with my '68 mustang's electrical system. The voltage
pulsates varying with engine RPM. I have noticed that the problem gets
worse after th car has been running for awhile. It has halogen bulbs,
which if I remember correctly draw more amps than the regualr type and
mess up the headlight switch. Is there a connection between that and
the pulsating lights?

Another question. I recently converted the A/C system to R-134a. It
worked beautifully for 2 days, and then the compessor started to lock up
and the belt slips something awful. I thinks this has something to do
with the expansion valve... but I'm not sure. Anybody out there have a
similar problem?

Oh, and if all this is in the FAQ, just point me in that direction.

thanks,
ernesto
