Hi there,

My heads that I am fitting to my 302 engine are Edelbrock Performer RPM heads.
I have a quick question about them.

Is there such a thing as a left and right head, as to me they both look
identical. The problem I have is that the head that the Power Steering pump
bolts to, has a bigger bolt hole and thread than the original head that came
off. This will mean that I will have to drill the power steering pump bracket
to take the bigger bolt.

I have tried both heads on one side of the engine and they are both the same.
The strange thing is that the correct size bolt hole is on the back of the
head at the back of the engine, but not on the front where I need it.

It is as though they have supplied me with 2 left heads, but I don't know.

Has anyone else done this and come across this problem.

Thanks.
