My daughter has a 66 Mustang I recently converted to disc brakes using 75
ford Granada parts. I would like to convert her manual steering to power
steering and I was wondering if there was any later model ford parts I could
use? Any help appreciated. Chester Fry

Ford used "basically" the same power steering systems on some of their cars
from the late 50s to late 70s. Many parts are interchangeable. Some are not.
It will be best to get everything from an identical car and swap it over.
You must at least have the exact center (drag) link with control valve and
tie rod ends. You may be able to use the pump and ram from other, later cars
such as Granada. Get the FORD shop manual for your car. It has pictures ans
specifications for setting up the P/S control valve and linkage. If you have
EVERYTHING, this is very doable. If you have to acquire parts one at a time,
it will be a real chore.
