Hi (again). I have two more questions:
1)My friends '70 coupe has a parking brake light in the dash. My '69 does
not. I thought that the '69 and '70 wiring harnesses would be the same.
Does the '69 have a parking brake light? (Is it the same as the master
cylinder brake light in the dash?)
2)Which wire on the alternator (or regulator connector) is the one that
lights your alternator light when you start the engine (on a '69)? (Is that
where I should look?) My light never goes on and I've changed the bulb.
Thanks,
Waleed.

No the wiring looms are different

The 69 does not have a standard parking brake warning light (option
only) and the brake light you are thinking will light is the pressure is
different (read fluid leak or loss) in one half of your brake system
compared to the other.

Your alternator light should come on when you turn on your key but do
not start the car (or when turned to accessory). I'm not sure which wire
supplies the light since there are four different wire looms used on
1969 Mustangs (pre Feb without tach, pre Feb with tach, post Feb without
tach, post Feb with tach)
