Well, my 70 coupe was light ivy yellow. I have never seen one before. Even
mine was repainted dark green in the mid 70's. May be bringing it back to the
oringal color. If any one has a picture of one I would love to see it. I have
never seen one before.

Paul's post made me realize something: my flair for exotic colors. Notice
I didn't say rare, because I don't know how many there were; I said exotic
because you don't see alot of these colors everyday, and I'll bet many of
them are painted red today. Consider:
1) My 67 convertible is Burnt Amber (code V)
I have only seen 2 Mustangs on the East Coast with this color
(a 67 Fastback w/HiPo; Dwight Lawrence's 67 GT convertible)
2) My 70 Mach I was originally Calypso Coral (code 1)
Previous owner painted it red (T). If I keep the car, I'll return
it to Calypso Coral (this would be a future project).
3) My 67 GT350 is Lime Gold Green (SA code 7; Ford code I).
And yes, a previous owner painted it red.
The interesting thing is I never thought I would like these colors as much as
I do! Friends and family members across the board have suggested that I paint
each car red. I have resisted, happily. Although, were I ordering these cars
new, this is what I would have ordered:
1) 67 convertible: Black with either saddle or red interior
2nd choice would have been Dark Ivy Moss Green (Y) w/saddle interior
2) 70 Mach I: Competition Orange (don't know the code), saddle interior.
You know, that mustard yellow color. Red (T) w/black interior would
have been my 2nd choice.
3) 67 GT350: Acapulco Blue (medium blue alla SA) with white LeManns stripes,
black interior. Dark Moss Green would have been my 2nd choice, again
with white LeManns stripes and black interior. A White car w/Blue Le-
Manns stripes would have been choice three.
I know any of you contemplating a car have gone thru the same "day-dream"
process
where you visualize different colors on your favorite body (car body, that is -
don't read too much into this comment 8^@ ).
Thanks for listening!

I always thought that was the best color on a mach I. There were a few
driving around town when I was a kid.

My problem...if you could call it that...is my SCJ is originally red, and I'd
rather have any color other than red. Go figure...
