Hello all,
Sorry about the "off topic" post but I need some help in finding parts
for my daughter's 1999 Mustang. The original headlight covers are made
of a plastic type material and they have really lost their transparency.
I've had limited success in polishing them up with plastic polish trying
to make them clear again. I've decided that it's just time to replace
them.
Any suggestions on where to go to purchase these things? My daughter
said that her boyfriend had found them for something like $150 each.
Ouch!
Thanks!
Scott

Hello,
Have you tried a local pick n pull, u pull it type of junk yard/dismantlers
etc...
I'm guessing they are composite so here in Sacramento, CA they go for about,
I believe, $25.00 each including the bulbs.
If you can't find them let me know and I'll check out the yards here and see
if there is some interchange info for you.

I haven't yet but I think they interchange all the way up to the 2004
model. I'm guessing those wouldn't be quite as foggy. Thanks for the
offer to check out the local bone yards up there. I can check the ones
down here first. I'm down near San Diego but used to live up near Sac.
Sunrise Road right?

There is a Picknpull on Taylor Rd, about 1/2 mile down from the corner of
Sunset Blvd (opposite side of the freeway from Sunrise Blvd). Or maybe
that's the one you're thinking of? I didn't know there was one on Sunrise
