thanks everybody for the opinions!
this is the first time i had ever used this website, and email gimmick, and i
will be asking for more opinions in the near future i am sure.
in regards to my question about leaving my 67 gta fastback "pea-soup" green
(lime-gold), right now, i am leaning towards leaving it that original color
because of one guys email that really made me think twice about changing it to
red, because of there being a "sea" of red mustangs out there, and leaving it
this original green color would make mine stand out even more.
the car originally came with a gold colored interior, and now it is all
black. since i live in the Tampa, Florida area, that will suck, even though the car
does have factory AC. but, i do have an Infinity FX45 that is all black, with
black interior, but the windows are tinted, which i WILL NOT do to the
Mustang. so, i am thinking about changing it out for the original gold interior, or
an all white interior, or a lime-green "pony" interior (my favorite as of
right now). what would you do? i love hearing the opinions of others, this is
really interesting to me.
thanks again to all that responded

My wife and I have a '68 convertible that was originally Lime Gold, but the
previous owner did a horrible paint job and painted it a bright yellow. I
seriously wonder if he went out and bought a bunch of spray cans or what? I
don't think I would mind if a car was painted another colour option of the
same year, but that's just me. That link to the web site with paint codes
shows the Poppy Red quite bright on my monitor as well. Might just be my
settings, but I thought it was a bit more orange than that? When we get
around to getting our Mustang painted we were contemplateing going back to
the original Lime Gold.

Oh yeah one other thing, I have seen that Seafoam Green and I don't like it.
I actually like the Lime Gold better, but that's just my opinion

Having had a Poppy Red '65. I've always considered the color closer to
Orange than (especially than) a Bright Red.
And when I had the car painted. I had it done in Imron and their version of
Poppy Red is definitely an Orange.
