On my 69 351w, I have been adding water to the overflow about every 3
days of driving.
I don't see any water leaks or my oil level changing. I did have a new
edelbrock intake put on about 1500 miles ago.
Thanks
Ken Cook...

Hi All,

I have a question about seat belts and have seen a few threads
about this but never took much notice until now.

I have a 66 Fastback which I replaced last year with new lap belts
and it has passed the the M.O.T. for the last three years (since
leaving Canada) but now I have to have shoulder belts. What belts
do I use and where do I attach them? Any help would be much
appreciated.

All the best. Dave.

66 Fastback

Sam,

Actually I when I said "fake boss" I was talking about the '70 boss. The
Grabber stripe with the CID numbers
looked like a fake '70 boss. Then there was the plain upside down C stripe.
Those are the only two I know
about.

Brian

P.S. Sorry for the confusion.

Actually Brian mine looks like the '69 Boss with no lettering.
I am thinking next weekend I will try to get ahold of the original owner
and find out if she knows if the stripes were ever altered on my car. I
don't think they have been.
Mine also does not have the engine size, so that means we know of three
styles:
1. '69 Boss 302 style, "Boss 302" replaced with "302" or "351"
2. '70 Boss 302 style, "Boss 302" replaced with "302" or "351"
3. '69 Boss 302 style no letter at all.

please take me off the mailing list. I would like to thank everyone who
taught me things about my first car, a '65 coupe (289, 4bbl, C4). Since I am
selling it in preparation to go into the Navy, I will be car-less for a
while. But when I can afford one, at the first opportunity, I want to buy
another Mustang. Maybe a 60's or a 5.0. Or maybe even a new one. Whatever it
is, I will always think back to my first Mustang.
thanks again
