Hello,
If anybody that attended the SAAC convention over the holidays at VIR has
posted pix or comments anyplace, could you post them to the list?
Thanx,
SND

Hi gang,
My 64.5 wouldn't start yesterday after work. I brought my gear in this
morning, and was getting very intermittent flashes on the timing light,
so i thought maybe the coil was bad. I replaced the coil with the
el-cheapo coil at advance. Now the timing light doesn't flash at all.
If I take the wire that runs from coil to distro, and ground the distro
end of it, there is a small spark, but not near what I'm used to
seeing. This car has a pertronix ignitor electronic points. Does this
sound like the points are bad? Or maybe I got a bad coil, or the
el-cheapo coil doesn't work w/the ignitor?
All grounds are good, and I'm getting 12VDC at both terminals on the coil.
This is lots of fun when you work 50 miles from home, and your wife
works 50 miles in the other direction...
Thanks,
Patrick Tisdale
