I still say the 351C 4v has the most potential for any small block
made. I had one in a 69 cougar Eliminator, that would run 12.2 @120 in
full street trim, 3.00 rear gear and a 2500 rpm convertor. Now this
motor did not have much for low end power, actually with the low stall
converter I was unable to even spin the tires on a launch, but when it
got some RPM's look out. At 4000 it kicked in and ran strong until
7500.
