Hi Guys!!
I got some more questions for that Gas tank swap.

In the last post you said to use the gauge for the tank, do you mean
physically the guage itself or just the sending unit?
If you mean the actual gauge, Will that fit in my stock Gauge cluster?
How much taller into the trunk is it? two or three inches?
Is the 70 tank 20 or 22 Gallons?
What is the difference between CA and not CA tanks for 70? I know it has
something to do with the evaporative system, but would a CA tank work?
Last but not least....
How will this affect the filler neck? It has to be shortened Right?

Sorry it's so long, If this swap is as easy as it sounds (They never are) I
might do it over the holidays.

Thanx
Marcus Miller

I left the stock 70 sender unit and the gauge (dash mounted) stock for
the car.

approx 3"

22

The evap system is the difference. Removing and not using the system
will be difficult, leaves a large bump in the trunk and requires the
fabrication of a seal, and plate to seal vapors in the tank... not my
choice of tanks when ther are others out there that don't require this
much work.
