The problem is not MIME, it is the fact that many people are
using Web Browsers as their mail client, and are *not* configuring
them to send plain ASCII text only, they are sending both ASCII
and HTML.
Has nothing to do with MIME directly
Once the entire world is converted by Bill Gates or Netscape
into using web browsers, all us schmucks using archaic ASCII
only mail readers will have to suffer the slings and arrows.....
I do sense the tide is turning....I even have a PC now so I can
see attachments....oh, no, I is becoming one of them....

some of us are lucky enough to be working on a VM/ESA mainframe with a POP
server that handles attachments and any message format.
so it isn't that your a "scmuck," it is just that your on a slower learning
curve then the rest of us. Did I mention that I use a PC to get my mainframe
e-mail
very fast and we don't have to reboot after every message.

Old dogs learn new tricks slower, is true. Up until a year ago
my home PC was a 386 with a 42 Mb hard drive.. but it *does* make

I don't know why all of you have something against what I was doing. It
wasn't that I am stupid or anything. I was just attempting different options
to get the e-mail program to do what it was supposed to be doing anyways..
Onto the MUSTANG topics.. Does anyone here know where I can pick up a Hi-Po
289? And roughly how much I would be paying for such engine? Any help will
be greatly appreciated.

Alright. .I see.. every message on this server is directed right to me
though. Thats how the mail client does it I guess. Other listservers direct
to the list for general and directly to the user for 'private' mail.. I
guess this server just works differently... Sorry
