Ok, although it's a looonnng way from your Minneapolis location, I have
had good luck with new and used parts from American Mustang in Rancho
Cordova, California (Sacramento area). Their used parts prices are
much better than I can find in the San Francisco Bay Area shops. They
even have a toll-free number (1-800-824-6026). They did send me an
incorrect part once, but were good at sending out the right one and
paying the $5 fee for UPS to pick up the incorrect part and paying the
return shipping. I haven't really used anyone else's mail-order
service to compare with, and this is just my experience - YMMV.
There isn't anyone I would recommend in my local San Jose, CA area.
"Mustangs Only", in particular, charges insanely high prices on used
parts. Again, this is only my personal opinion.

I have had great experiences with MustangsPlus in Stockton CA. They are not
the least expensive, but you get what you pay for and they especially make it
up in service. I didn't like the way my '67 Convert sat after installing one
of their spring sets so I gave them a call. "Don" told me to drive it for a
few months to let the springs settle, I did, they did, but the car was still
just a little too high. Called them back, they exchanged my coils and leafs
with a different set for the cost of shipping. If they have the part I don't
do business with any one else.

I've only bought suspension stuff mail order and all of it from
Mustangs Plus. Everything was sent on time and no complaints.
There are a few "vendors" on this list. I'll give them my business
next time.

I've had very good luck with Mustangs Plus also. Bought a suspension
rebuild kit, rear leaf springs, and some interior parts. Also I've been very
happy with Mustangs Unlimited.I've bought lots of things from both, and will
continue to also!
