Mustang lovers,

I'd like to assemble a group order for a product where the manufactor requires a large minimum order.

Like many of you I subscribe to, read, and collect car magazines. Over 20 years, I've accumulated several
thousand magazines, which make up my restoration library. I use & want to keep these magazines. For most,
the issue is how do you store them? During the late 80's, a cardboard box manufactor (Jesse Jones Industries)
advertised "library quality" magazine cases, witht he magazine's logo printed on the spine that held a years
worth of magazines (12). JJI sold these for about $8 per case / 6 for $40. I bought 50 of them and got a price
of about $5/case. They really are a bargain - I can send photos*. You could use the cases for any
magazine that fits. The cases are 8-1/2" deep, 11-1/2" high, and 2-3/4" wide; perfect for 12 Mustang Monthly,
12 Super Ford, 12 Mustang & Fords, 12 Fabulous Mustang & Exotic Fords, 12 Mustangs Illustrated, 12 Car &
Driver, 12 Road & Track, 12 Motor Trend, etc.

I now need more cases; some folks in my local Mustang Club expressed an interest in them as well.

Unfortunately, JJI went out of business around 2002. I tried to do this previously, before they went out of business,
but couldn't hit the minimum order. The previous owner of JJI now works for another "box company" who purchased
JJI's tooling. I contacted him; the new manufactor can make the cases, and wants a minimum order of 500 - 1,000
pieces. Depending on the final number, he's charging an estimated $6 - 8 per case, and can drop ship directly to
each individual order address.

So here's the deal: take a look at the photos and give me an indication of who is interested and how many they want.
If this forum, plus my local Mustang Club supports the minimum order, I'll place an order within 30 days, and we can
expect delivery within 1-2 weeks of order placement. Just send me your name, city, email address, and quantity
desired in an email. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.

*Note: the photos are about a half meg (568,000Kb); the moderator bounced this message due to size when I first
sent it last week. I will send photos to anyone who requests. ~20 people have already indicated they'll take an
average 24 pieces each.

Thanks!
