I reas somewhere (I think the shop manual, no less!) that leaks can be fixed
using glue injected into and filling up a suspected area. I don't know how
effective this is, but it did stop a bad leak on the upper right corner of my
65's windshield. The problem is that there are still other leaks of
undetermined origin still causing the windshield to fog up badly. On the ohter
hand, the windshield does have a crack. Maybe that's the cause although I see
no water coming in from the crack.
Does anyone have the ultimate solution to this? I am planning to buy a new set
of rubber gaskets and put in a spare windshield that I have lying around.
Thanks in advance! God bless!

I have been told by many glass people...some of whom
would not touch my car because Mustangs are known to
leak and be a pain in the ass...that FORD replacement
gaskets are the best to get and the others are
garbage. That is just what I'v e been told. But a lot
of glass people seem to agree. The guy who did my
wife's 68 after getting a rock on the way to Hot
August Nights did a great job, but had the car all day
and made sure it sat for a good long while before
letting us drive it.
