I'm not an expert on this at all, but having used Elmer's ProBond for a
few projects including '69 window tracks and a crack in my (sorry) '70
Charger R/T console - it gets my vote. There are plastic welders and
various other stuff, and I'm sure others have suggestions that may be
more suitable, but I'm happy with what I did.
FWIW,
David

I have used epoxy, you can get a special type for plastic.
I've also melted plastic pieces back together with a heat gun and soldering
iron. You heat the edges with the gun untill it melts a little, put them
back together as quick as possible and use the iron to push the plastic
around on the back side to help make it stronger. Trim it up with an exacto
knife, then used epoxy puddy and Graphite mix to fill the gap, sand it down
like body work and repaint. You can get graphite in little cans like 3-in-1
oil just make sure its dry and dosn't have any oil additives. Use "Bulldog"
plastic primer to help the paint stick. I haven't tried the new plasticote
stuff yet.

If you are only doing a small piece, I'd go with Jason's recommendation. If
it's a larger piece or you are worried about it bearing some sort of load, you
might want to check out Duramix products--they offer professional grade
plastic/urethane glues and fillers. The bling-bling crowd uses them alot on
custom stereo/dash/amp installations. Very good stuff, but also rather
expensive, so the super glue may be a better route for you.
