Does anyone have a Krylon color code for the black metal parts of the dash
on a 69? My glove box door and some other parts are looking pretty bad.
The HPBooks "Mustang Restoration Guide" talks about mixing paints to come
up with a "semi-gloss" or "medium flat" finish for interior paint, but
I've got a daily driver and don't need concours quality, although I'd like
something reasonably accurate.

Brian

I've found that NAPA #7812 semi gloss black is a good looking black.
The dash in my '72 does not match that, though.
It has a touch of gray in it, and I'm looking for a match to that.

Firstly the code on your door and in the Ford documents shows a "black"
as the correct color for your car. The problem is that Ford really used
Dark Charcoal Metallic in those cars... Check my sight under details for
the correct color.

Sorry it isn't now available in spray cans locally but can be purchase
through Mustang dealers.
