Okay, here's a question, hope somebody answers it... I recently bought
a set of stripes for the 66 GT from National Parts Depot... sort of a
spur of the moment purchase. In my inexperience, I kinda assumed they
would come with a rudimentary set of instructions, such as where each
strip is positioned and how to apply them correctly. As you can guess
I was flat out wrong. I seriously don't want to screw up in putting
them on. What I need to know is their exact placement on the body (there
are three sets of two strips each, the longest and medium lengths going
on the sides between the wheels, I know, but I have no idea where the
pair of shorties go (or if they are for the 2+2??)). Also, I'd like to
know the steps I should take to prepare the surface (wash, wax strip?)
and any follow-up treatment I should do... If somebody can give me a
lesson in application, or point me in the direction of this information,
I'd greatly appreciate it. My search continues as I wait for a reply....
